Genealogical research material is available at all branches. A number of indexes are available on all Library PCs and microfiche/microfilm.
The Shepparton News is available on microfilm (currently 22nd May 1879-30 Dec 1970) at Shepparton library.
Numurkah Library have local newspapers available. The Numurkah Leader is available on microfilm from 1895 - 2002 and on CD from 2003 – present, with an index. Also on Microfilm are the Numurkah Standard from 1882 to 1918, and the Wunghnu Guardian & Wunghnu Observer from 1884 to 1885.
